My story

Stuck in an office job that didn’t make me happy, in one of the flattest countries in the world, I realized, somewhere around my thirties, that if you don’t pay attention, you live exactly the way others expect you to…

So I decided to take the leap and move to Switzerland to discover what really makes me happy. I gave myself the chance to discover, hike and write about the beautiful area I landed in. Not only for myself, but I soon realized that, apart from the tourist attractions, it was actually quite hard to find the ‘right’ hikes, viewpoints, restaurants and things to do around Interlaken, Grindelwald and Thun. As I spend countless hours online and zooming in- and out of Google maps, I figured that if this kept me busy, it probably got other people busy too.

So, with Wilderness Whispers I hope to make your travels to Interlaken and surroundings a lot easier. You can easily pick out the guides and hikes and go explore!
